Dr. Brent Depta was born and raised in Natchez, MS. He completed his pre-dental undergraduate education at Mississippi State University and graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 1995. Dr. Depta received his certificate in periodontics from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1998 and is highly trained in periodontics, dental implant surgery and periodontal plastic surgery. Dr. Depta and his staff have been serving the periodontal and dental implant needs of South Georgia since 2001. He was on the Georgia Dental Association Board of Trustees from 2007-2008, was president of the Southwest District Dental Association from 2008-2009 and is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Eugene Rowell III was born in Plattsburgh, NY and raised in Valdosta, GA. He completed his undergraduate degree at Valdosta State University where he received the Biology Senior and Presidential Excellence Awards in 2015. He then attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry where he served as the vice president of his class and received his doctorate in dental medicine in 2019. Dr. Rowell served as the chief resident and earned his certificate in periodontics and master’s in dental sciences from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2022. He specializes in periodontal surgery and dental implant surgery. Dr. Rowell joined South Georgia Periodontics in 2022 and enjoys treating patients in his hometown. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology and the Georgia Dental Association.
